maria gigante 

maria has worked at dig since 2006 and is dig's lead project manager. she has directed many insight film projects bringing her storytelling skills and strategic prowess to each project. maria has won an emerging director award at the cannes interational film festival and was runner up for the mtv emerging director award in 2006. maria has done work for jwtoo, viacom, and a variety of boutique agencies, while also moonlighting as an adjuct professor of film production and screenwriting at columbia college. when not at dig maria enjoys whipping up experimental stews, teaching her dog sally the english language, and playing catch with husband jason.
